It said that Windows was not activated after completing setup. No key was found it said. Is that normal? Do I have to purchase a license key? Thanks
Me too. Says hardware changed (i.e. installed off a clone) and unactivated.
Has anyone received an answer to this issue? I have the same message stating there was a hardware change (the minute I turned the PC on), and I need to reactivate Windows, however, no key was included. I even purchased a key from Microsoft (today) but even that said it did not recognize the key. I did purchase Windows from this site so it should have been included.
Disregard my last post. After searching the packaging (which was damaged) I found a little piece of paper stuck to the inside with the key on it.
Search in package activation code. Is for sure there on the small sticker!
I'm up against the same problem. We searched everything but there is no sticker with an activation code.
If you purchased the windows key, then it was taped onto the "X" sticker. Only the earliest shipments had manuals. We ran out and we'll use these forums for support. If you didn't purchase the license, then email us at vicky@xdo.ai and we will send you a purchase link. You can also order Win10 pro license on other stores online.
Make sure not to do the Window 11 upgrade when prompted AND back up / clone your SSD drive.
Thanks!
