Well, it arrived. At last. Given all the turmoil of politics, supply chains, and covid, I suppose one should be surprised it is here at all.

It is small. It is neat. It is not working.

I had no instruction manual or wallet which appeared in some videos, so I assume I have done this correctly.

I plugged in a new HDMI cable from the Pantera Pico PC (PPP or P3) and I plugged in the power. Turned it on. Blue Light. No screen. Tried different screen. Same result. Tried different cables - same result.

I don't know what to do now.

On current form, this might be fixed by 2023, but it would have been nice to at least have seen an instruction manual somewhere - instead of a relentless panoply of fixed web images on the site and on IndieGoGo, displaying what I have to look forward to.

U simply need to plug the HDMI cable into your monitor.

Can you shoot a video of what you are doing?

WARNING. Within two days of the unit arriving, the SSD stoped working. When I complained to XDO support, I did not not receive a reply for two weeks, and only then after I threatened typ report the company to Kickstarter. The reply directed me to support forum page explaining how to clone a SSD, but this is no use when the SSD isn't detected in the BIOS. When I pointed this out, XDO stopped replying and I have heard nothing from them in over a week. i am now left over $200 out of pocket and with a useless lump of platstic.

Same behaviour, SSD nearly DOA after working only two days, and same answer to clone my SSD, how? if OS doesn't recognise it and still no answer about what are they going to do to replace the SSD or .....

@dougiepunk I also facing same problem within a week SSD stopped working.

There is no way to sort this issue. No reply from XDO.

I am thinking to purchase XDO projector but after this incident, same SSD failure problem of other users, i have changed my mind.

There is no help desk/customer service for customers problem.

Update: XDO has now sent details on how to return the unit. It's at my own cost to Hong Kong. but it's something.

@dougiepunk Wow!  So, their warranty consists of shipping it back to HK?  I bought the extended 2 yr warranty.  What a waste of $$! I too have had many hick-ups.  I guess we are the "Alpha Testers"!!  They are more worried about filling orders instead of quality control to the ones who have already received theirs, which one the responses I received...too busy shipping out orders.

I am so disappointed in an unhelpful curt email reply to my email telling you that I received no manual or Start UP Instructions with my PicoPC which arrived this week. You just told me to sign up to www.xdo.ai. I signed up to www.xdo.ai as you said. It is a completely user-unfriendly experience. In the section: Tutorials there is a reference to manuals and warranty, but when I go there, there is no tutorial or way of downloading the manual and warranty. The only thing I found was a document on the history of the PicoPC!!!! When you acknowledged my contribution, YOU COMMITTED to including a manual. Here is what you said I would get "Get One 8GB RAM + 1TB SSD PicoPC One year warranty. You'll receive: ● 1x Pantera Pico PC ● 8GB RAM + 1TB SSD ● Ultra Tiny - 2.63 X 2.63 X 1.75 Inches ● Available in black, grey, blue, red, pink, gold, purple ● Comes with power supply, user manual and packaging".

You did not include a manual with the PicoPC you sent me and in your email reply when I told you that, you could not even bring yourself to apologize for that omission. Basically, all I have is an expensive Paperweight with no guidance on how to connect it or get it to work. You have left me in Limbo by delivering a product with no connection or start up instructions or manual. Then all you did was refer me to a very user-unfriendly website. Frankly, I expected a lot better. I sent another email yesterday saying what I have said here, and I have received no response to that. I am very disappointed in how unhelpful your customer service has been. I am sitting here with a Pico PC with no idea how to get it working. Now please get your act in gear, stop wasting my time and send me a pdf of the manual with full connection instructions, including how to connect the mouse and folding keyboard.

I bought 3 PicoPcs - contributed very early in the crowdfunding campaign. First one failed within a day, second one has failed in 2 days. Have placed the purchase order for the replacement SSD.  This is a money grab exercise - have to spend more for replacement SSD rather than getting replaced under warranty. VERY VERY disappointed with the quality. Def not recommending this to prospective buyers
