To open the PicoPC Pantera case do the following
Tools: Small philips screwdriver + small flat screwdriver
There are 4 small screws 2 on each site underneath the black rubber anti slip
The 4 screws are aligned as follows
Left side:
- Between black space and logo
- Where the serial number is
Right side
- On each corner
With the flat screwdriver carefully peel the adhesive loose so the hole appears
With the Philips screwdriver remove the 4 little screws
Â
When the 4 screws are removed you can now easily remove the bottom cover.
Â
As a result you can now take a look inside the PicoPC
I have a red light burning on the faulty SSD
Â
Hi, did you change the SSD, does it work now ?
Â
Andrew
Hi,
Yes
I had it replaced by a professional (to get a bill) with an SSD that I provided, even though I could have done it myself very easily.
But you have to take a M.2 SATA (6Gb/s) and not a M.2 NVMe (25Gb/s). An M.2 NVMe would be too hot for the box.
After, the 2242 format do not have much choice of manufacturers, for my part I fell back on a: "Kingchuxing - internal hard drive SSD, M.2 2242 NGFF M2, 256 GB" on Aliexpress.
Since then, everything works with Windows 11 installed on the Pico Pantera Pc without any problem (neither of installation, nor functioning since 1 week).

Thank you guys for the tips, found myself in the same position as all of youse. Going to try my hand at it. Appreciate it!
it looks like SSD is of very poor quality. My ssd failed with very little usage.
