Unable to get BIOS screen to show up on my computer

Purchased this on KS - just trying to run it now. Appears to start up successfully but doesn't drop me into BIOS or Windows. I have it plugged into my monitor via HDMI, both directly into the computer or via the dongle. A couple of questions - has anyone else hit this and if so, how do you solve this? Does it beep or make any noises on successful POST? I've tried looking for a user manual but didn't receive anything for the KS. Any suggestions are appreciated!
